Common questions from referring clinicians
We accept referrals for any of the services listed on our services page including cataract assessment, oculoplastic conditions (eyelid malposition, lumps, watery eyes), corneal disease, pterygium, dry eye, and YAG capsulotomy. If unsure, please email us and we will advise.
Please include the patient's name, date of birth, contact details, relevant medical and ocular history, current medications, and the reason for referral. A brief summary of previous ophthalmic treatment is helpful.
Most patients are seen within two weeks of referral. Urgent cases may be able to be prioritised - please indicate urgency clearly in your referral letter.
Email your referral letter to valeeyesurgeons@protonmail.com. Include relevant clinical history and any imaging or test results. We will confirm receipt and contact the patient directly to arrange their appointment.
