Common questions

Everything you need to know before your visit

How do I book an appointment?

You can contact us through our website or call us directly. We will arrange an appointment with you.

What should I expect at my first consultation?

Your consultant will carry out a thorough examination, discuss findings with you, and outline treatment options - all in one visit.

Do I need a GP referral?

Not for private appointments. You can self-refer directly. We also accept referrals from GPs and opticians.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes. Call or email us and we will find a new time that works for you.

How long is the wait for surgery?

Most patients are seen within two weeks and can have surgery booked shortly after if required. Far shorter than typical NHS waiting times.

Which conditions do you treat?

Cataracts, eyelid conditions, dry eye, corneal disease, pterygium, and more. See our full services page for details.
